Black is dealing with a leg injury, Jack Veltri of On3.com reports.
Analysis:South Carolina's head coach Shane Beamer announced that he withheld using Black in Week 2 as a precautionary measure for his injured leg. "He had a little leg tissue injury that flared up in practice on the walkthrough after practice Wednesday," Beamer said. "So we just wanted to be smart with him, so we did not play him." Black will be back in contention to play Week 3 against Mississippi State.
