The Philadelphia Eagles will start quarterback Joe Milton against the New York Giants on Sunday, sources told ESPN's Adam Schefter and Mike Garafolo.
The Eagles are reportedly benching Tanner McKee, who went 0-3 as a starter with 638 passing yards, two touchdowns, and two interceptions.
Milton has never started an NFL game. The 26-year-old last appeared in a contest in January while with the Dallas Cowboys. He also took the field in a January 2025 game as a member of the New England Patriots.
Milton completed 37 of 53 passes for 424 yards with two touchdowns and two interceptions across his two games.
McKee originally took over after starter Jalen Hurts was diagnosed with blood clots. Hurts started the first five games of the season for the Eagles. The NFL and NFL Players Association are reviewing the team's handling of Hurts' blood clot diagnosis.
Philadelphia enters Week 9 on a six-game losing streak.
