The Indianapolis Colts have received calls from multiple teams inquiring about a trade for quarterback Daniel Jones, league sources told NFL Network's Ian Rapoport and ESPN's Adam Schefter.
Jones is set to start Sunday against the Dallas Cowboys. Indianapolis has been willing to listen to any offers, league sources told Rapoport and Schefter.
The Baltimore Ravens checked in on Jones before trading for Jacoby Brissett, while the Minnesota Vikings have been speculated to have interest in Jones, according to Rapoport and Schefter.
Jones has thrown for 1,542 yards with a 60.4% completion percentage this season. He has five touchdowns and nine interceptions, and Indianapolis is 2-6 in his eight starts.
The 29-year-old impressed with the Colts in 2025 before sustaining a torn Achilles in December. Jones went 8-5 in 13 starts, throwing for 3,101 yards, 19 touchdowns, and eight interceptions. He also had five rushing touchdowns.
Indianapolis has preferred to wait until this week to consider any potential trade and is expected to take calls on Jones through Tuesday's 4 p.m. ET trade deadline, league sources told Rapoport and Schefter.
Jones has a $10.51-million injury guarantee for the 2027 season. It becomes fully guaranteed March 15 if he's on the Colts' roster. Jones could waive the injury guarantee if he wants to play for another team, league sources told Rapoport and Schefter.
Indianapolis inked Jones to a two-year, $88-million contract in March.
Colts head coach Shane Steichen said this week, "Daniel gives us the best chance to win right now." Indianapolis is third in the AFC South and has lost four straight games.
Jones was drafted sixth overall by the New York Giants in 2019. He played six seasons in New York until he was cut in November 2024.
