Winnipeg Blue Bombers quarterback Zach Collaros will get his first start with the team Friday against the Calgary Stampeders.

Collaros hasn't started since Week 1 when he took a helmet-to-helmet hit from Hamilton Tiger-Cats linebacker Simoni Lawrence. He'll get the nod in place of Chris Streveler, who was placed on the one-game injured list.

Winnipeg acquired Collaros at the trade deadline in a deal with the Toronto Argonauts. The 31-year-old began the season with the Saskatchewan Roughriders.

The Blue Bombers have already clinched a spot in the playoffs, which get underway in two weeks.
