Major League Baseball teams had until 5 p.m. ET on Monday to extend a one-year, $23.15-million qualifying offer to eligible players.
Eight players ended up getting tagged with a qualifying offer.
| Player | 2026 team | 2026 salary |
|---|---|---|
| Randy Arozarena | Mariners | $15.65M |
| Brandon Lowe | Pirates | $11.5M |
| Seiya Suzuki | Cubs | $19M |
| Jake Bauers | Brewers | $2.7M |
| David Bednar | Yankees | $9M |
| Ryan Jeffers | Twins | $6.7M |
| Adrian Morejon | Padres | $3.9M |
| Trevor Rogers | Orioles | $6.2M |
Players who received a qualifying offer have until Nov. 17 to accept it. The qualifying offer would sign them through the 2027 season. Teams can still work out extensions with those players.
Players who reject the qualifying offer are tied to draft-pick compensation, meaning the team that eventually signs them will forfeit a 2027 draft selection.
Players who have already received a qualifying offer or who were traded during the 2026 season are ineligible.
