Miami Heat forward Derrick Jones has tested positive for the coronavirus, a source told Ira Winderman of the South Florida Sun Sentinel.

The 23-year-old is reportedly asymptomatic and remains intent on playing in Orlando.

All 22 teams competing at Walt Disney World began mandatory COVID-19 testing Tuesday.

Jabari Parker and Alex Len of the Sacramento Kings confirmed their positive test results Wednesday, while teammate Buddy Hield also reportedly tested positive.

Jones, who's an impending free agent, has developed into a key member of the Heat's rotation. The UNLV product is averaging a career-high 8.9 points on 51.4% shooting this season and has been used as a late-game stopper by head coach Erik Spoelstra.

Miami holds a 41-24 record and sits two games up on the Indiana Pacers and Philadelphia 76ers for the Eastern Conference's fourth seed.
