Larry Nance is calling on fans in Cleveland to help him give back to the community.

The Cavaliers forward took to social media Wednesday to announce he hopes to use his exposure to promote local businesses this coming season and requested that fans send him apparel from said businesses to help him out.

The 27-year-old also plans to sell his game-worn jerseys and match the price of each sale in order to donate the entire proceeds to local businesses.

Nance is the son of Larry Nance Sr., who played seven seasons with the Cavaliers in the early 90s and was twice named an All-Star with the team. The 27-year-old Akron, Ohio, native says he intends to further provide each locally owned business with more exposure by posting about them on his social media channels.

Cleveland's 2020-21 season will begin when it hosts the Charlotte Hornets on Dec. 23.
