The Indiana Pacers are finalizing a deal to acquire Jalen Smith and a future second-round pick from the Phoenix Suns in exchange for Torrey Craig, sources told ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.
Phoenix selected Smith 10th overall in the 2020 draft but declined his third-year option before the campaign began. The 6-foot-10 forward has only made 56 appearances for the club.
Craig had a brief stint with the Suns last season. He averaged 7.2 points and 4.8 boards over 32 games for Phoenix during the 2020-21 campaign.
