The Phoenix Suns agreed to a three-year $29-million extension with center Oso Ighodaro, his agent told ESPN's Shams Charania.
The deal will keep the 2024 second-round pick under contract through 2030-31.
Phoenix is also picking up its $2.5-million team option on Ighodaro for 2027-28 as part of the agreement, according to Charania. His new deal will be fully guaranteed as well, reports Yahoo Sports' Kelly Iko.
Ighodaro was one of 18 players to play in all 82 games last season. He put up 6.5 points, 5.1 rebounds, and 2.3 assists per game while averaging 22 minutes per contest. He started in 17 of the Suns' final 21 regular-season games and remained in their starting five during Phoenix's first-round playoff loss at the hands of the Oklahoma City Thunder.
The 24-year-old is likely to maintain his starting role to begin the 2026-27 campaign after starting in three of the Suns' four preseason matchups.
