Orlando Magic guard Jalen Suggs has a bone bruise in his right knee and will be re-evaluated in two weeks, the team announced Monday.

Suggs sustained the injury in the fourth quarter of Sunday's victory over the New York Knicks. An MRI revealed no other structural damage.

The Magic are also without starter Paolo Banchero for multiple weeks after he suffered a high ankle sprain last Friday.

Injury absences have plagued Suggs throughout his six NBA seasons, though he posted a career-high 75 appearances in 2023-24.

Suggs was effective when healthy last season, averaging 13.8 points, 5.5 assists, and 3.9 rebounds across 57 contests to help Orlando reach the playoffs.

The Magic are 1-2 this season and return to action Wednesday against the Toronto Raptors.
