The madness of Pac-12 After Dark has returned with Boise State emerging from a wild matchup versus Texas State with a crucial victory.

The Broncos took a 28-3 lead to the locker room at half only to allow the Bobcats to score 36 unanswered points and turn a 25-point deficit into an 11-point advantage with 8:58 to play.

Despite an injury to starting quarterback Maddux Madsen, Boise State got off the mat with Max Cutforth throwing three touchdowns in the final 6:15 to push the Broncos to an eventual 46-45 win.

The game featured 38 points in the fourth quarter alone and saw the teams combine for over 900 total yards of offense.

The win keeps No. 20 Boise State in the drivers seat for the CFP place reserved for the Group of 6's highest-ranked team. There are four 1-loss teams among the Group of 6 conferences with the Broncos joined by New Mexico, Liberty, and UTSA.
