Becoming a fan favorite has been an adjustment for Boston Celtics rookie center Tacko Fall, but fortunately, he has teammates like Enes Kanter around to help him out.
In an interview with ESPN's Jackie MacMullan, Kanter recalled the time he caught Fall giving out his phone number to people he didn't know.
"I remember I went out to eat with him, and then he was giving his phone number to just random people," Kanter said. "I'm like, 'Tacko what are you doing, you cannot do that.' He said, 'Oh, they're just nice people.' I'm like, 'Tacko, no.'
"People just love him, I think it's just his personality, his character. Like something magical about him."
Fall acknowledged he has a hard time turning down fans.
"Once somebody sees you, then they're going to get their friend, and then everybody just comes and takes photos and asks for autographs," he told MacMullan. "I just can't get myself to say no."
Despite playing in just four NBA games this season, Fall ranks sixth among Eastern Conference frontcourt players for the 2020 All-Star Game following the first round of fan voting.
