MacIntyre has been named the starting quarterback ahead of Saturday's clash with Alabama, per Pete Thamel of ESPN.com.
Analysis:Following his spot start in place of Faizon Brandon last week, MacIntyre will make his second career start during the Third Saturday in October. The 6-foot-6 sophomore threw for 247 yards and one touchdown to go along with two interceptions against Arkansas last week and will be hoping for a better performance against rival Alabama.
