Murray has been reassigned to AHL Milwaukee on Thursday, per the NHL media site.
Analysis:In addition to Murray's demotion, the Predators have activated Justus Annunen (undisclosed) off injured reserve. While the 28-year-old Murray performed well in his only appearances for Nashville this year, stopping 18 of 20 shots in an overtime loss to Ottawa, the Alberta native will be hard-pressed to take over as the No. 2 option for the Predators, barring another injury.
