Jones chipped in seven points (3-3 FG, 1-1 3Pt) and one steal across 16 minutes in Wednesday's 101-97 preseason win over Dallas.
Analysis:Though the expectation this offseason has been that Jones would start for the Pelicans, his role doesn't appear to be set in stone quite yet. Bennedict Mathurin remains a candidate for a spot in the first unit to begin the new season.
