Dailey has been splitting first-team reps at quarterback ahead of Saturday's game at Boston College, Christopher Carter of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reports.
Analysis:Dailey saw his first college action this season, but he could now already be in line for a starting role if he gets the nod over Holden Geriner. Geriner started in the Panthers' most recent game against UNC after QB1 Mason Heintschel tearing his ACL, and a poor performance has now ignited a quarterback battle. The following days should determined which way Pitt's staff will lean in a decision.
