Durkin (head) could return to action in upcoming games as coach Yoann Damet said the midfielder is fine after his forced substitution Wednesday against Vancouver Whitecaps, per Tom Timmermann of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch.
Analysis:Durkin may still see limited playing time given the short turnaround between games, but it appears he's not dealing with a concussion or other type of serious concern. He has made four starts in a row, contributing three assists over that span, and having him available would boost the squad's quality in midfield battles. On the other hand, Miguel Perez and Tomas Ostrak would remain on the bench if Durkin continues to feature going forward.
