The Eagles signed Wheeler to the practice squad Thursday.
Analysis:Wheeler will continue his quest for a spot on an NFL roster with Philadelphia. While the 25-year-old might be needed to suit up for the Eagles at some point moving forward, he likely wouldn't have a very sizable role.
