Holmgren (quadriceps) has been ruled out for Thursday's preseason game against the Rockets, Justin Martinez of The Oklahoman reports.
Analysis:Holmgren will miss the entire preseason due to a bruised quad. The team has yet to express any concern about the big man missing the regular-season opener Tuesday against San Antonio, but his status should come into focus as Opening Night approaches.
