Aligbe (undisclosed) logged five points (2-4 FG, 1-3 FT, 0-1 FT), seven rebounds and one steal across 17 minutes during Xavier's preseason win Thursday at Tennessee.
Analysis:After sitting out Xavier's previous exhibition last Thursday, Aligbe returned in just over a week. It looks like the junior will log a backup role, which means he will need to show consistent promise to keep a spot in the Musketeers' rotation. Aligbe's best basketball quality is his rebounding, as indicated by his seven rebounds Thursday and 7.4 rebounds per game last season with Southern Illinois.
