Fermin (hand) logged zero points (0-1 FG) and three rebounds across 10 minutes during Tennessee's exhibition loss Thursday against Xavier.
Analysis:After missing most of VCU's 2025-26 season, Fermin transferred colleges to Tennessee, whose summer practices he mostly missed because of a hand injury. Though it is no longer a problem now, he appears to have missed out meaningful time to showcase his skill set. Fermin logged Tennessee's fourth-most minutes off the bench, even with Jalen Washington out temporarily because of ineligibility. That means the former will have to work hard just to stay afloat as a regular member of Tennessee's rotation.
