Schieffelin was waived by the Heat on Thursday.
Analysis:Schieffelin inked an Exhibit 10 contract with Miami in September, and while he drew a few preseason opportunities, the Heat elected to cut him loose. He'll presumably begin the season with the Heat's G League affiliate, the Sioux Falls Skyforce, after being waived.
