Raiola is splitting first-team reps with Brock Thomas and Akili Smith Jr. going into Saturday's game against Nebraska, Pete Nakos of On3.com reports.
Analysis:After a disappointing Week 6 performance against UCLA, which saw the Bruins upset Oregon, Raiola has opened his temporary starting spot (with Dante Moore out for at least one more game) to competition from two of his fellow Oregon quarterbacks. According to Nakos' sources, Thomas has the edge to start in Week 7, not Raiola. The news significantly dampens Raiola's upside going into the Nebraska-Oregon game, and he has a day to turn his stock around.
