Taylor (toe) is working to play in Saturday's game at LSU, but there is shared skepticism on his availability for the matchup, Pete Nakos of On3.com reports.
Analysis:Previously undisclosed, Taylor's injury is a turf toe that the quarterback has dealt with since the end of Mississippi State's game with Missouri in Week 4, even though he subsequently played against Alabama. Skepticism about the quarterback's availability suggests he is more doubtful than probable going into Week 7, which is unfortunate timing for the rising QB scheduled to face an LSU team potentially reeling from an upset loss to Kentucky.
