The Rockets signed McConnell on Friday, Lachard Binkley of SI.com reports.
Analysis:McConnell has spent the past three seasons in the G League, including the 2025-26 campaign with Houston's affiliate, Rio Grande Valley. His familiarity with the organization could position him for another stint with the Vipers if he's waived before Monday's roster deadline. The guard is unlikely to factor into Houston's NBA rotation.
