Markanich (concussion) is not listed on the MLS player status report ahead of Saturday's game against St. Louis City.
Analysis:Markanich missed Wednesday's 2-2 draw at Colorado while in concussion protocol, but his removal from the injury report suggests he has cleared the return to play steps in time for the weekend. The defender has been one of Minnesota's most dangerous players this season with eight goals and two assists and he should be in line to slot back into the lineup on the left side for the trip to his former club St. Louis City, a welcome boost for the team.
