Christie (rest) will be inactive for Friday's preseason finale against the Hawks.
Analysis:Christie will skip Dallas' preseason finale for maintenance purposes, but he should be fine for the Mavs' regular season opener against the Rockets on Wednesday. With Christie out, there will be more minutes available for Zaccharie Risacher, Caleb Martin and Sergio de Larrea.
