McCollum (rest) will play in Friday's preseason finale against the Mavericks, Brad Rowland of the Locked On Podcast Network reports.
Analysis:McCollum and most of Atlanta's regulars rested Monday against the Thunder but will return to action for the final exhibition. It's unclear how many minutes the veteran will see, though he might play into the second half as a dress rehearsal for the regular season.
