Awaka (knee) is out for Friday's preseason finale versus Minnesota, K.C. Johnson of Chicago Sports Network reports.
Analysis:Awaka will miss Chicago's final two preseason games due to the knee injury, but for what it's worth, head coach Tiago Splitter said he's "close" to a return. The Bulls open their season Tuesday in Toronto, and for now, Awaka should be considered questionable for that game.
