Sheppard will come off the bench in Friday's preseason finale against the Bucks, Tony East of Forbes.com reports.
Analysis:Sheppard started in Tuesday's exhibition with Andrew Nembhard (undisclosed) unavailable, but Nembhard is back and starting, so Sheppard will retreat to a reserve role. As a member of the second unit this preseason, Sheppard is averaging 7.5 points, 3.0 rebounds and 1.5 triples in 19.2 minutes per game.
