McDaniels (rest) won't play in Friday's preseason game against the Bulls, Alan Horton of the Timberwolves Radio Network reports.
Analysis:McDaniels will join several other key Timberwolves players on the inactive list Friday. However, he should be good to go by Wednesday's regular-season opener against the Heat.
