Parks (leg) remains sidelined while he deals with physical issues, about which coach Pascal Jansen commented "If he's going to be on the pitch again this season, I think then we should be very happy given all the trouble that he's had over the past two seasons that I've been working with him, his body had to endure a lot of things. Once he starts playing again, he has to deal with other injuries either resulting from that, or his body is responding to something else again, which is in some cases also related to the surgery that was done, given the foot injury that he had to struggle with this year," per Glenn Crooks of Big Ten Network.
Analysis:Parks might continue to miss various weeks after making his last league appearance on Aug. 29, as it has been increasingly difficult for him to regain top shape following a series of setbacks. While he hasn't been ruled out for the rest of the campaign, there's a considerable chance he won't see much action during the final regular-season weeks. In that case, Andres Perea and Aiden O'Neill will likely stay put in holding midfield spots.
