Ament (ankle) didn't play in Friday's 128-127 preseason win over the Pacers in overtime.
Analysis:Ament ended the preseason with a third straight absence due to a left ankle sprain. The rookie forward's status will be worth monitoring ahead of Wednesday's regular-season opener against the Wizards, though his absence likely wouldn't cause too many waves in the rotation.
