Halttunen scored three goals in AHL Belleville's 5-4 overtime loss to Laval on Friday.
Analysis:Halttunen is up to four goals and three assists over five games to begin his tenure with Belleville. The Finnish winger was acquired from the Sharks as part of the trade that also sent William Eklund to Ottawa. Halttunen isn't NHL-ready yet, but he could improve upon his 35-point effort in 69 regular-season games as an AHL rookie last year.
