The Baltimore Ravens signed quarterback Kedon Slovis to their 53-man roster off the Green Bay Packers' practice squad, the team announced Tuesday.
It's not clear who the Ravens will start at quarterback Thursday night against the Jacksonville Jaguars. Lamar Jackson is scheduled to undergo surgery on a thumb injury and is out indefinitely, and backup Tyler Huntley is dealing with turf toe. Even third-string quarterback Joe Fagnano is nursing an ankle injury.
Ravens head coach Jesse Minter said Monday that he expected Fagnano to have a chance to play Thursday, according to team reporter Ryan Mink. Minter added that Baltimore was working to determine Huntley's recovery timeline.
Slovis, who went undrafted in 2024, has thrown two NFL passes. He made his brief on-field cameo in 2025 with the Arizona Cardinals, completing one of the two passes for negative-2 yards.
Slovis was waived by the Cardinals in August, and he signed with the Packers' practice squad shortly thereafter.
The Ravens got off to a 4-1 start but have since lost three in a row, sinking to last place in the AFC North.
