Newberry registered his personal best in rushing yards to lead Oregon State with 111 yards on 11 carries and one touchdown in the Oregon State 33-7 win over UTEP on Saturday.
Analysis:Newberry leads the Beavers on the ground with 181 yards. While the seniors is the top ball carrier for Oregon State, the Beavers are more of a passing team. Newberry has a good chance of putting up quality rushing numbers in their next game against Colorado State on Oct. 3. The Rams defense is near the bottom in the country against the run and have allowed a dozen touchdowns so far this season.
