Tottenham midfielder Harry Winks' ankle injury is taking him abroad.
With a place in England's World Cup squad at risk, the Evening Standard reports Winks will consult a world-leading specialist at the Aspetar clinic in Doha, Qatar.
The clinic brands itself as "the world's leading specialised orthopaedic and sports medicine hospital," and became the next course of action after injections last week failed to improve Winks' condition.
Winks, 22, has played just three matches in 2018 after failing to recover from an ankle injury suffered during the first half of the season.
"We are a little bit concerned about his situation," Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino said. "When you are young, it is more difficult to deal with these situations and we want him to enjoy his football again.
"We will see what happens. We hope after this period he can come back, fix his problem, and try again to be training with the group."
With the 2018 World Cup set to kick off June 14, Winks, whose lone England cap came last October in a tournament qualifier against Lithuania, is a major doubt for the trip to Russia.
