The Philadelphia Eagles are getting some reinforcement for Sunday's game against the Carolina Panthers.

Wide receiver DeVonta Smith is on track to play after being a full participant in Friday's practice. The 27-year-old missed the last two games because of a hamstring injury.

"I'm good," Smith said Friday, according to Tim McManus of ESPN. The wideout added that his playing status is "up to the doctors."

Smith was later given no injury designation on the Eagles' injury report Friday.

Linebacker Jonathan Greenard is also poised to return after missing Week 5 with an ankle injury. The 29-year-old wasn't on the latest injury report and said he will test his ankle pregame, according to McManus.

The banged-up Eagles will once again be without star running back Saquon Barkley, who was ruled out because of a hamstring injury. He hasn't suited up since suffering the ailment in Week 4.

Backup tailback Will Shipley was placed on injured reserve Friday due to a partial plantar fascia tear, leaving Dameon Pierce and Carson Steele as Philadelphia's top remaining options at running back.

Finally, quarterback Tanner McKee will start against the Panthers to replace Jalen Hurts, who is out indefinitely with a superficial blood clot in his calf.
