Indianapolis Colts cornerback Sauce Gardner is expected to miss time after suffering a mild calf strain in Sunday's loss to the Tennessee Titans, sources told NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.
Gardner is considered week-to-week after undergoing an MRI.
The Colts' loss to the previously winless Titans dropped Indianapolis to a 2-4 record this season and prompted Monday's firing of general manager Chris Ballard.
Gardner is in his first full season with the Colts after they acquired him from the New York Jets last year. He's compiled seven passes defended, zero interceptions, and 33 tackles since joining the team.
The 25-year-old had a prolific start to his career after being drafted fourth overall in 2022. Gardner won Defensive Rookie of the Year and was a first-team All-Pro in his first two seasons.
The Colts resume their season Sunday against the Minnesota Vikings.
