Toronto Raptors head coach Nick Nurse provided an update Tuesday on his banged-up roster.
Starting forward O.G. Anunoby will miss at least one more week due to a hip injury before being re-evaluated, Nurse said, according to The Athletic's Eric Koreen.
Anunoby was sidelined for Sunday's loss against the Orlando Magic and is slated to miss upcoming contests versus the Sacramento Kings, Brooklyn Nets, Golden State Warriors, and Philadelphia 76ers.
The Indiana product is having his best NBA campaign, averaging a career-high 19 points and a league-leading 2.4 steals.
Meanwhile, backup center Precious Achiuwa will miss a few more weeks due to partially torn ligaments in his right ankle, per Koreen. The 23-year-old hasn't played since Nov. 9 when he sustained the injury against the Houston Rockets.
Achiuwa has been a solid depth piece in parts of two seasons with Toronto, registering nine points and 6.6 boards per contest across 85 appearances.
The news was bleaker for veteran Otto Porter Jr., who may be out another month as he continues to rehab a dislocated toe, added Koreen.
Toronto signed Porter to a two-year, $12.3-million contract in the offseason, but the former No. 3 overall pick has been limited to eight games in his debut campaign north of the border.
The Raptors sit ninth in the East with a 13-14 record. They open a three-game homestand Wednesday coming off back-to-back losses to the Magic.
